New Delhi : Google is rolling out a new privacy feature for its Chrome browser. Through this feature, users will be able to find out in their Android smartphone which website has access to their information. In an upcoming release, Google will also add an option to remove the site from your browsing history in Chrome.

Google said in a statement late Tuesday that with updated site security controls, we’ve made it easier to track which sites are allowed what information. Simply tap on the lock icon to the left of the Chrome address bar to open the updated panel, which shows what permissions you’ve granted for that particular site.

From there, you’ll be able to more easily toggle between sharing and not sharing things like your location and your camera. To keep its users safe, Google last week rolled out yet another feature in its search that will allow people to quickly delete the last 15 minutes of browsing history on mobile.

The feature is available in the Google app for iOS, and is coming to the Android Google app later this year. The tool is not yet available for desktop users. Google said it has also expanded ‘Site Isolation’, a security feature that protects users from malicious websites.

‘Site Isolation’ will now cover a broader range of sites as well as extensions, and it all comes with tweaks that improve Chrome’s speed. The company said that new updates and features will come to Chrome on Android and Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome OS in the coming weeks.
