Bhumi Pednekar, who made her debut with the film Dum Laga Ke Haisha, had to face a lot of troubles in her childhood. When she was 18 years old, her father died of cancer.

Bhumi Pednekar got offers for many films after Dum Laga Ke Haisha. He had rejected 24 films one after the other. Bhumi said, ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ had changed the way people look at obesity.
